Code of Conduct

Dog Village events are spaces for queer joy, weird performance, fursuit shenanigans, and adult fun. To keep them safe and good for everyone:

1. Consent first. Don't touch anyone without asking. That includes fursuiters — many of us are non-verbal in suit, and a yes for one person is not a yes for another.

2. No racism, transphobia, fatphobia, or ableism. Subtle or loud, intentional or not. We will ask you to leave.

3. Watch the substances. Be safe. Look out for each other. We support harm reduction, not policing, but if you're a danger to yourself or others, our staff steps in.

4. No photos of fursuiters or attendees without permission. Some folks are out, some aren't. Ask before you snap. See our Photo Policy.

5. Respect performers. Tip, cheer, take care of them. Don't grab. Don't heckle.

6. Listen to staff and security. They're there to keep the night good. If they ask you to do something, do it. We can talk it out after.

7. If something's wrong, find a staff member. Look for the Dog Village shirt or the venue's security. We'd rather hear about a problem mid-night than read about it the next day.

Crews and staff hold each other to this standard too. We're not perfect — call us in if we miss the mark.
